Landscapes

I often refer to my inspiration for landscapes as the “big sky” I see and feel when at Plum Island, the salt marshes, anywhere on the Merrimac River and beyond. A good friend told me she felt like she could just “go into” my landscapes. To me, that was a clear sign I had been successful in what I hoped to convey. A landscape should invite you in, make you want to be there, and maybe take it home with you!
